Cookie Policy (EU)

Last updated 4 October 2026

This page explains how www.manu.co.in uses cookies. It applies to all visitors, including visitors in the European Union. In short: reading this site does not place any cookies in your browser.

Does this site set cookies when you read it?

No. Reading pages and posts on this site does not set cookies, and there are no advertising or marketing cookies. The site does not show ads and does not use Google Analytics.

Which cookies are used when someone signs in?

Only the site administrator signs in. The WordPress login page and dashboard use WordPress’s standard login cookies (such as wordpress_test_cookie and wordpress_logged_in_…) and short-lived jetpack_sso_… cookies for signing in with WordPress.com. They are needed for signing in and are not set for ordinary visitors.

How are visits counted?

The site uses Jetpack Stats, a service from Automattic, to count page views. It does not set cookies. When a page loads, a small script from stats.wp.com sends a request to pixel.wp.com that includes details such as your IP address, browser user agent, the page address, the referring page, the time and your country.

I only see totals, such as how many times a post was viewed, not who viewed it. Automattic says it keeps these logs for 28 days. You can read more in Jetpack’s privacy information for Stats.

Do any other services load on these pages?

How can you manage cookies?

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because this site does not set cookies for readers, blocking them will not affect how it works for you.
